I'm Here For You
Gaines St. Projects

Within a week of closing For What It's Worth, someone shattered our store window and stole the remaining food and clothing we were planning to give away.

The person who broke in was simply trying to express their frustration, and perhaps even send me a message. I assumed that if they had something to say, others would as well. So rather than simply cover the window with plywood, I provided a space to further that communication.

I'm Here For You was a participatory intervention, functioning as a giant cork message board, serving as a space where members of the community could share their thoughts, search for lost dogs, and perhaps find that elusive final band member.
