What I Really Need
Collaboration with Peter Kamback
The alley connecting W Gaines St. and St. Francis St. in Tallahassee, FL was a transitional space for the homeless community, freight-train riders, and a hangout for workers passed over at the nearby Labor Finder.
Plywood painted to the likes of notebook paper was installed in the alley and community members were led with the simple prompt, "What I Really Need Is...".
The project served to develop a broader relationship with the community and the responses were used to determine the inventory offered in the For What It's Worth store.
